Attorney Rebekah Grafton spearheads a conference on the “Importance Of T-Visas” by AILA Carolinas Chapter
The AILA Carolinas Chapter represents hundreds of member attorneys in North Carolina and South Carolina. Chapter meetings feature prominent guest speakers from the Departments of Homeland Security, State, Justice, and Labor, and the Chapter is active in liaison and advocacy efforts.
The conference program will provide beginner, intermediate and advanced topics on T visas and anti-trafficking work for lawyers in SC, NC and attorneys-supervised out of state.
Remarkable speakers representing several firms around the country, including lawyers, law enforcement, therapists and social workers, among others who participate in anti-trafficking legal work or services, will be providing helpful insights on never-before-seen topics like Faith-Based Coercion/Religious Trafficking introduction, and an entire panel devoted to domestic-violence based trafficking.
