Meet Attorney Jessica Alatorre
Jessica Alatorre brings more than a decade of experience in immigration law to Fay Grafton Nunez PLLC, where she leads the firm’s Charlotte office. Her practice spans family-based petitions, humanitarian relief, removal defense, and appellate work.
Before joining the firm, Jessica served as a Staff Attorney with Legal Aid of North Carolina’s Immigration Pathways for Victims project, advocating for immigrant survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. She previously spent six years in private practice with Cauley Forsythe Immigration, and two years as an Attorney Advisor through the U.S. Department of Justice Attorney General’s Honors Program at the Charlotte Immigration Court.
Jessica earned her J.D. from American University’s Washington College of Law and her B.A. in International Studies from Bennington College. She is admitted to practice in North Carolina, Maryland, and the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals. Jessica is fluent in Spanish since her parents are Mexican and Peruvian, and she grew up in a Spanish speaking household.
